If you do not live in Illinois I apologize for bothering you. If you do live in Illinois, I strongly urge you to share this information everywhere.
The Liberal policies our governor has enacted, such as the continuous increase of handouts for illegal aliens by authorizing use of the Matricular Consular card as valid for State Services, is bankrupting our State. He has raided the State Pension funds (including teacher pensions) to pay for this. Now he wants to LEASE out the State Lottery and impose a tax on business. Ever hear of a company willing to lose money? No. They simply pass the cost to you. This will force more companies to move out of State or you will pay higher prices. So, while you are on the phone with your Senator / Representative tell them NO to the current Blago budget proposals!

STOP driver's licenses for illegal aliens HB1556. Call your State Senator and Representative to stop any further consideration of this bill. The proposed license is not needed. If you are here as a legal visitor you can drive on an international driver's license. This will simply become another document that will be counterfeited.
Ask your elected representative / senator how they justify providing ANY documentation to someone who broke the law to get here and as a result someone else who is attempting to come here LEGALLY cannot? Note how these devious people we elected to office word the synopsis: "in compliance with the federal REAL ID Act" . This bill has absolutely nothing to do with REAL ID!!! AND!! Last week our infamous director of homeland security -the guy who likes to see Border Patrol Agents put in jail- delayed implementation of REAL ID for two more years (to 2010) anyway.

While you are on the phone there are two other bills that need to be stopped. The first one is SB227 which would (this is an example) allow school boards (and other municipal groups) to use your tax dollars to promote a referendum!! The prime supporters of this Bill are: Sen. Pamela J. Althoff - Dan Rutherford - Susan Garrett and Mike Jacobs . Read the bill here:
http://www.ilga. gov/legislation/ billstatus. asp?DocNum= 227&GAID= 9&GA=95&DocTypeI D=SB&LegID= 27694&SessionID= 51

The second one is Senate Bill 16. Your Senator or Representative will probably ask you why anyone needs an assault weapon in their possession, but this bill goes way beyond that. I do not consider my shotgun an assault weapon but they do. This bill is the next step to remove our second amendment rights.. Read the bill here:

See, the problem is these idiots (elected liberal minded politicians) think if they pass a law it will be obeyed. If all laws were obeyed, we would not have a problem with over 20,000,000 illegals who broke the law to get here! If we lose our second amendment rights, only the criminals and our government will have weapons. Then we can be just like Colombia and Mexico!!
